Classical carnatic music- Sama Veda- Lord Rama .....

As we all are aware that there are four vedas called Rig, yajur, sama and atharvana... Amongst this sama veda is of rhythmic pattern and its sung in seven styles..there are various branches of sama veda and one important branch is gauthama shaka... the hymns of this branch is set in a rhythm similar to the descending scale of karaharapriya raag of classical music with notes M1G2R2S... Sage Gauthama is said to live on the river bed of godavari, hence godavari is also called a gauthami river.. those regions are called as dhandakaranya forest, the forest which was visited by lord Sri Rama during his exile with Sri Sita devi and lakshmana... at a place called janasthanam, Rama killed a demon called khara... Hence the name Khara+hara+priya=kharaharapriya (dear to one who killed khara)..sage gauthama worshipped lord Rama during many events also his wife akalya was revived from a curse by Rama thus Sama,Rama and Kharaharapriya meets at a juncture .......
